We are based in Fremont, CA, have approximately 3,000 employees, and have operative offices in the following five states: Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, and Texas.
As the company continues to grow, many interesting legal issues, involving both litigation and transactional matters, come forth. Our legal department, which consists of three attorneys and support staff, is looking for a legal intern to help with a variety of tasks. An individual with excellent research, writing, and communication skills is sought. A positive attitude, with a team-like spirit is a must!
The legal intern’s responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing contracts.
- Conducting research in a variety of areas.
- Drafting discovery.
- Drafting dispositive motions for litigation matters.
- Drafting Mutual Release and Waiver documentation.
- Drafting client correspondence.
The intern will be expected to come into the office for approximately 20 hours/week, with the schedule to be determined based on the individual’s respective course work. This is a paid position, and 2L candidates who are willing to commit to working for one year and are available to work in the spring semester and summer will be preferred.
