PetersenDean Awarded $1.2 Million Commercial Roofing Project
FREMONT, CA — PetersenDean, a privately-held roofing and solar company, announced the recently awarded $1.2 million roofing project of the Cherry Logistic Center Warehouse in Newark, CA, from McShane Construction Company.
Two industrial developers have teamed up, American Realty Advisors and McShane Development Company, with plans to tear down an existing 250,000-square-foot industrial building on a 29-acre site to construct the new property.”We are excited about the opportunity to work on this project, especially since it incorporates many of the sustainable products and principles that we are known for,” said Dean Rowe, Vice President of Commercial at PetersenDean.
Located within the growing population center of the Bay Area, the new industrial property will consist of Johns Manville 4GNC Hot Applied Built-up Roofing System over structurally sloped plywood deck. The project will also be designed and incorporate details, including roofing, to comply with prerequisites to obtain LEED Silver Certification, provided by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
The project just broke ground and the anticipated start date for roofing is the Fall 2013.
