Jim Petersen, CEO of PetersenDean Roofing & Solar, the nation’s largest, full-service, privately-held roofing and solar company, announced that Gary Liardon has been appointed the company’s Division President for the Central and Eastern regions of the US. Prior to his promotion, Liardon was Division President of the Central US region.
In his position as Division President, Liardon will oversee the daily operation of the company in the Central & Eastern United States, support the CEO in executing directives, ensure that business operations are efficient and effective, manage sales and marketing, and develop and communicate to staff the company’s strategy and mission. With the steady growth of its roofing and solar business, and the strong demand from home builders and consumers alike, the company looks forward to working with Liardon in his new position.
Liardon joined the PetersenDean team in 2014 after 25 years of experience in residential and commercial sales and construction management spanning all of the major markets in Texas.
Awarded Bachelor’s Degrees in both English and History from Tarleton State University, Liardon went on to pursue graduate studies in both Law and Philosophy at the University of Houston. When not engaged in or supporting a variety of endurance-oriented family sports, his involvement with philanthropic groups like the Wounded Hero Program and the American Cancer Society has provided him the opportunity to work alongside state and national leaders on a myriad of challenges.
“Having built and led teams for some of the nation’s most successful home building organizations, Gary understands the importance of leadership and accountability at all levels within any successful organization. Singular focus born of collaborative drive is a keystone of his management style,” said Petersen.
