FREMONT, CA – Jim Petersen, CEO, and George Milionis, General Counsel, of PetersenDean Roofing & Solar, the nation’s largest, full-service, privately-held roofing and solar company, jointly announced that Neha Sareen has been appointed the company’s Deputy General Counsel.
In her position, Sareen will work alongside the company’s General Counsel to help manage all legal matters for the company’s departments and tend to litigation and corporate activities while protecting the company’s long-term strategic objectives. Her new role will include overseeing outside counsel for out-of-state litigation as well as taking a lead role in performing complex legal assignments and providing counsel in a variety of matters.
“Prior to her appointment, Sareen served as our Corporate Counsel, during which time she made significant contributions to our litigation and corporate work as we experienced significant business and operational growth,” Petersen said. “We are all excited because we know she will be a valuable asset for our corporate management team.”
During her legal career, Sareen practiced in business, commercial, and complex litigation in both San Francisco and San Diego prior to joining PetersenDean. She is also an accomplished writer and has authored pieces published in such periodicals as The American Association for Justice and San Francisco Attorney Magazine.
Sareen is a member of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter for the Association of Corporate Counsel, and is actively involved in the California Women Lawyers (CWL) In-House Counsel Network.
