Installation went smoothly. All personal was courteous and professional.
Your team was great! On time and explained everything so we could understand it. Very pleased at this point.
Was impressed with team and that they wore safety gear and roped everything off so we knew not to walk . Thanks!
Outstanding - Fast - Polite and Professional!
I could not ask for a better company to install my solar. I found their pricing very reasonable. Their entire staff was very professional, whenever I had a question regarding my project they returned my calls in a timely manner and answered all my questions. I have recommended PetersenDean to other people when asked about my solar
All the team did an amazing job - from the start Roby Shiroma (sales) to Ivy Bruner (Project Coordinator) then the follow team Roofer and Solar installers all deserve a kudos.. the project was easier then I could ever expect giving the magnitude and work involved. Great job everyone and I will spread the word to anyone thinking about Solar or Re-Roofing!!!nnthank younnjose
Jim, we used Petersen Dean to install our Solar near the end of May 2016. We were extremely pleased with the process. Brian Pease was a low-pressure salesperson who was a pleasure to work with. However, a huge factor was that we had had a new roof installed about 3 years beforehand. It had a 25-year warranty. Of course, the warranty would have been voided once solar was installed. However, Petersen Dean, being a roofing company, stepped in and picked up the rest of the warranty. This gives us great peace of mind since if repairs are needed, the company that is responsible for them knows what it's doing and will not have to farm it out to a subcontractor.
When the day of installation came, a large crew showed up, worked at least 8 and probably 9 hours, and finished the job the same day as promised. It was extremely gratifying to see your technician plug the system into our smart meter and see the meter showing a negative number.
So, we just got our annual solar settlement from PG&E. Our total cost for electricity for the year was $375. Our annual electricity bill had averaged $3,350 a year for the past several years. In other words, we saved almost $3,000. Based on a net cost of $14,700 after our tax credit, that works out to be a return on investment of more than 20%. I don't know about you, but I would be extremely happy if my Investment Portfolio performed that well.
By the way, for over 10 years we were on the grandfathered time of day plan, which saved us a great deal of money. Of course, right around the time, we installed solar, they terminated the old plan. Had we not installed solar, I'm sure our costs would have increased by hundreds of dollars a year on whatever new plan we chose.
Even better, we have central air conditioning which we use about 15 or 20 days a year. On the old time of day plan, we couldn't use our air conditioner between noon and 6 p.m., which is when the house heated up the most. Now, with solar, time of day is irrelevant, and we can use the air conditioner when we need it.
I do get a kick of listening to your commercials on the air. Folks, I can't do this forever! (By the way, of course, you can as long as it's profitable.). :-) But I do love your folksy approach, and I think it works well.
So anyway, I'm sure that not all of your systems work out this well, but ours did, and I wanted to let you know. You are in a great business and I wish you continued success in the future.
Great job! panels look great, and work great too!
