Far beyond our emergency shelter
SAVE invites you to Open Doors, a community education and outreach event that will be held on April 26th. Open Doors is not a fund raiser – it is a time to learn about the wide array of services SAVE offers, far beyond our emergency shelter. At this 1-1/2 hour event, our Executive Director will speak, staff members will discuss their work, you will hear a SAVE client share her experiences, and there will be time for a question and answer period. Lunch is included. Past attendees have been inspired by all that SAVE does for our community, and have enjoyed the opportunity to meet staff members and other SAVE supporters, all while gaining a broader understanding of the much-needed services SAVE provides. Our January, 2012 Open Doors event was quite a success and was covered in the following Union City patch.com article.
Where: Alvarado-Niles Boulevard @ Dowe Avenue, Union City, CA 94587 (Location details will be provided when you RSVP)
When: Thursday, April 26, 2012 from noon to 1:30 pm
RSVP: by Monday, April 23, 2012
If you have questions regarding Open Doors or to reserve your space, please contact Tina Fernandez, Development Assistant at SAVE @ (510) 574-2266 or firstname.lastname@example.org. This event fills up quickly so don’t delay. We look forward to seeing you there!
