Description / Overview: Re-Roof of six (6) hospital wings totaling 98,162 Sq. Ft. including the removal of existing gravel built-up roofing, mechanical equipment, curbs and existing electrical. Provide and install a fully adhered temporary roof followed by 3” of Polyisocyanurate insulation and ¼” Sopra board over which is fully mopped modified Soprema membrane roof system was installed. The project included all new lightning protection, new mechanical equipment, curbs tied-down to roof anchors, new roof access ladders and waterproofing. The project proved to have some challenges as the work was performed while the hospital wings were occupied and had to conform to hospital noise and odor guidelines.
