This company is, in my opinion, OUTSTANDING. They deserve your every consideration. I'm an electrical engineer and their salesman in my area, Dave Shanholtzer, was able to answer most of my technical questions regarding the installation of our 14-panel solar system. Those that he couldn't immediately answer he found and provided answers for, and he did it quickly. The first solar company I contacted was different. Their salesman said "Huh?" to almost everything I asked of a technical nature.
The installation crew was a pleasure to work with. They were very polite, did a FIRST CLASS install, cleaned up our site, and answered questions to my satisfaction. We NEVER heard the typical contractor excuse that "my truck broke down" we've heard so often in past years.
In regard financing, we were given a "two loan" option. One loan is interest-free for 1 year and is for 30% of the system price. You pay it OFF with the 30% refund off of your next year's IRS tax refund for buying solar. The 2nd loan was for the balance at a reasonable rate for 12 years.
We've now had our system running 7 months. Our overall $$ SAVINGS, between what our electric company bill WAS the year before, month to month, WITHOUT solar, and our current month to month bill WITH solar, is $985. This is a 73.9% reduction from the $1333 we paid BEFORE, and the $348 we paid NOW over a corresponding 7 month period with our PetersenDean solar system. Indeed, our monthly payment on our 2nd solar loan is $122.67 a month. If you do the MATH and multiply our monthly payment by 7, you get $858.69. OK, what this MEANS is that, since we SAVED $985 in 7 months and PAID ~ $859, our solar system is FREE!! Besides being FREE, we put the difference, or $126. in our POCKET! We THANK Petersen Dean for our FREE solar system, AND for giving us $$ extra to go out to nice restaurants. :) Such nice guys, they are, huh?
At THIS point in time, early March 2016, our 14 solar panels have generated MORE power since the start of the billing cycle, than we needed to run all in our home. So far we've had 9 days in a row where we pump more INTO "the grid" than we take FROM it. Our daily excess power generated varies from 1 kWH to 5 kWh, day to day!
Go with the BEST. Go with PetersenDean! Be a happy camper, huh?
