SUMMARY

The Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising, assessing and estimating all service/repair related issues. They will work closely with customers to ensure satisfaction and certify that all repairs are completed in the timely manner.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and manage service crews for leak repairs
  • Ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner
  • Inspect roofs and provide estimates for repair work
  • Assess leaks
  • Follow-up with customers (heavy customer contact)
  • Solve customer needs and complaints
  • Assist with all billing
  • Assist with collections as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in the roofing/building trades industry
  • Supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Good customer service skills, strong writing and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate, with keyboard skills and experience of word-processing, (Microsoft Word) combined with ability to acquire other skills as necessary (e.g. databases and spreadsheets)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility where necessary and to work as part of a team
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to work to a high standard (and while under pressure)
