PG&E continues to shut off power due to high fire threats. Nine counties (Butte, Lake, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sonoma, and Yuba) have been alerted of potential power outages until further notice.

The factors that PG&E is focusing on are:

  1. Strong winds
  2. Low humidity levels
  3. Critically dry vegetation
  4. On-the-ground observations.
