Re-roof and solar power upgrade
Project scope/size: Replaced wood shake roof on 3,000-square-foot. single-level house and workshop with composition roof. Installed rack-mounted solar system on new roof.
Project description: Homeowner needed to replace a worn wood shake roof and had high electricity bills. In getting ready for retirement he wanted to work with an established contractor and liked the convenience of having one contractor to handle the solar roofing project. PetersenDean completed this solar roofing project by replacing the old wood shake roof with lifetime Presidential TL composition shingle roof, and installed a 6.5 kW solar power system estimated to meet 80 percent of his electricity needs. Also installed all new 7-inch fascia seamless pre-painted galvanized gutters and downspouts.
